THE HIRING PROCESS IS BROKEN
RESUMES PILE UP. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SLIP THROUGH THE CRACKS.
Recruiters are overwhelmed, and job seekers are discouraged now more than ever. We all know it. And we know it doesn’t have to be this way.
That’s why Beyond the Resume exists - a career event designed to cut through the noise and bring real people into real conversations. As an HR leader, you have the power to change the story. Whether it’s sharing insider insights, giving a job seeker confidence through a mock interview, or connecting companies to this platform - your role makes this event possible!
WHY GET INVOLVED?
Elevate Your Voice: Be featured as a panelist and share your real-world perspective on what works (and what doesn’t!) in hiring.
Give Back, Simply: Host a few mock interviews to help job seekers sharpen their skills, boost their confidence, and walk away more prepared for their next opportunity.
Shape the Future: Be part of a new kind of career event that prioritizes people, not paperwork.
Get Recognized & Respected: Your participation will be highlighted across event materials, social media, and the Pink Horizon Collective community.
Discover Talent: While giving back, you may also meet job seekers who are a strong fit for your own company. This event creates a rare space where authentic conversations can lead to meaningful connections — and maybe even your next great hire.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
We’re building a new kind of career fair — warm, human-centered, and focused on real conversations before the résumés. As one of our featured HR leaders, you’ll make an impact on job seekers while also getting visibility across our full audience, branding materials, and social shoutouts.
To elevate that experience we’re offering the following:**
$25 if selected as a panelist or interviewer participant as a thank you for your time for joining us
$25 for each company you recruit to be a sponsor of Beyond the Resume*
$20 for each 2-hour time slot you sign up to help with mock interviews.

FAQs for hr panelists or interviewers
-
You may serve as a panelist or mock interviewer. Both options are designed to give attendees direct access to HR expertise while giving you visibility as a leader in your field.
-
Yes. HR participants receive a small stipend in recognition of their time and contributions. Additional bonuses can be paid out for referring paid sponsors, and facilitating mock interviews. Specific amounts will be confirmed once your role is assigned.
-
We ask that you have several years of HR or talent acquisition experience, ideally with hiring or interview responsibilities. This ensures attendees gain insights from professionals actively engaged in the hiring process.
-
You may refer companies to participate as sponsors or employers. To qualify for the affiliate bonus, referred companies must complete their sponsorship or employer commitment 24-hours before the event. Any company may qualify, but due to the nature of the event it would work best if these are companies with current open roles, or roles to be opened at the start of the new year.
-
Panelists share insights during a moderated discussion on hiring trends, job-seeker tips, and workplace culture. The session will be facilitated by the Pink Horizons CEO, with every panel member contributing to the conversation. Most questions will be shared in advance so you can prepare, though some will be asked live during the event—so flexibility and quick thinking are key.
-
Mock interviewers commit to short one-on-one sessions with attendees, providing real-world interview practice and feedback. You’ll receive guidance on structure and timing in advance. We’re asking all who want to participate in mock interviews to sign up for at least one 2-hour window of time (~4 interviewees).
