    If we need additional time to build the audience required for a successful record attempt, the event date may shift slightly.

HOW ARE PROFILES VERIFIED?

All participants will be required to appear LIVE on camera with camera-on requirements and real-time moderation. Filters, avatars, and fakes will not be permitted.

DO I HAVE TO KEEP MY CAMERA ON DURING THE WHOLE EVENT?

Yes. Live video is required to ensure a safe, authentic (no catfishes allowed) experience for everyone.

CAN I USE FILTERS OR VIRTUAL BACKGROUNDS?

Appearance or decorative filters (including avatars, beauty studio effects, or facial adjustments) are not permitted. Zoom-provided virtual backgrounds are allowed to help protect participants’ privacy.

The entire event will run for 2-hours (120 minutes). The speed dating portion of the event will take up roughly 90-minutes. You are free to step away at any time by removing yourself from the dating break-out rooms, or disconnecting entirely.

You’ll rotate through multiple short video conversations and meet a variety of people during the event. The general idea is groups of 10 will date for approximately 5 minutes, and then you’ll be placed in another group of 10 daters.

As a virtual event, it is designed to be as safe and controlled as possible, similar to participating in a video call from your own home. However…

ALL PARTICIPANTS must follow our community guidelines, including keeping cameras on, behaving respectfully, and following moderator instructions at all times. Active moderation is in place throughout the event.

While we cannot guarantee the behavior of every individual, any participants who violates the rules will be removed immediately and banned from future events.

This event is designed for open-minded, respectful adults looking for real conversation, meaningful connection, and some record-breaking fun.
