Why Beyond the Résumé Was Born
The hiring process today feels broken — not because of any one person, but because the system has become overwhelming on both sides.
Job seekers pour their hearts into applications that too often disappear into silence. Many are brilliant, capable, and ready to contribute, but they get lost in a stack of résumés or stumble in interviews that don’t reflect their true skills. For those who’ve been laid off, are struggling to break into a new field, or are wondering if this could be their second chance — the search can feel endless.
But employers struggle too. HR leaders and hiring managers face hundreds, sometimes thousands, of applications for a single role. They want to find the right people — not just for the job, but for the culture and future of their company. Yet the tools and processes designed to make hiring efficient often make it harder to connect with real humans.
Beyond the Résumé was created to flip the script.
It’s a space where both sides can meet differently: with authentic conversations, real-world scenarios, and genuine connection. Where seekers can show who they are beyond bullet points, and employers can share what they truly value in a way that attracts the right talent.
At its core, this event is about people. About helping those who are ready for their next chapter find their shot — and helping companies discover the kind of talent résumés alone can’t reveal.
The format is a 2-day conference style event.

We’re opening up our event with an insider insights panel where you’ll hear directly from several of our experienced HR/Hiring leaders. We’ll ask them about the job landscape, hiring process, and of course - you’ll have plenty of time to ask your own burning questions.
We’ll cap this session off with a LIVE demo of an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) - you know, that thing you submit your resume into that feels like a black hole. You’ll be able to see what really happens when you submit your resume and why it’s important to follow some basic guidelines when submitting, to ensure you’re not overlooked!

**Our goal is to make Beyond the Resume a powerful, high-impact experience for everyone involved. The event is planned for December 4–5, 2025, but if we need a little extra time to bring all the right people together, we may move it to early January. Either way, you’ll be the first to know — and your spot will be saved.

Tickets for attendees are priced at $10.

Your RSVP reserves your place on the priority list. Tickets will go on sale once we’ve confirmed the minimum number of panelists, sponsors, and coaches—expected in mid-November.

For your $10 ticket, you’ll have access to all live sessions, mock interview signup (if available, so reserve early), coaching breakouts, employer spotlights, and networking meet & greet! There may even be some surprises in the works as well!

Some sessions may be recorded and shared afterward. Mock interviews and breakout rooms will not be recorded to maintain privacy.

You’ll sign up for a 20–30 minute time slot in advance. During your session, you’ll meet one-on-one with a mock interviewer who will ask role-specific questions and provide constructive feedback to help you prepare for real interviews.
